My First Time.

This past weekend was a weekend of first times.

It all started off by looking at 4 different houses on friday night(my first time), with a couple of them having good potential and are still on my list. After giving my parents a tour of southeast minneaplis side streets i took them to Matt's Bar where we had some delicious Juicy Lucy's (thier first time), yummy.

After Matt's, my parents & I went our seperate ways, they went to my sister's place & i went to the Bergengren household for a backyard bbq & fire. most people were still there when i arrived @ 10:30 and the night ended about 12:30 just after a nice hot Smore! yummy.

Saturday morning i set my alarm for 7:01(my first time)and met Jeff in N. St. Paul. We then unloaded a load of gravel from flatbed truck & drove to Amery, Wisconsin to the Sunde's cabin (my first time). It was a beautiful august weekend that included: boating, tubing, jetskiing(my first time), making new friends, pontooning(my first time), learning when Carnival is, napping, swimming, laughing(my first time), grilling, fireworking, campfiring, smoreing, stargazing and learning about what causes the arora borealis (northern lights).
It was great weekend. the only thing that would have made it better is if i had rememebered, before being submerged, that i have a very weak defense against lake water. As i sit here, home sick for the day, I look back and think to myself, 'was it worth going in the water?' my answer is, "Heck Yes!"
